Advanced Behavioral Health, Inc. (ABH) has opened a new outpatient office in Hagerstown, marking its first expansion into Washington County. The office, located at 265 Mill Street, Suite 800, began serving patients on September 1, 2026, bringing the organization's comprehensive mental health services to a region that has historically faced limited access to care.
This expansion is significant for Washington County, which has been designated as a Mental Health Professional Shortage Area by the Health Resources and Services Administration. ABH's presence addresses a critical need for timely and high-quality psychiatric and therapeutic services. The new office offers a range of services including individual and family therapy, school-based therapy, telehealth counseling, and psychiatric evaluation and medication management. These services are designed to meet clients where they are, reducing barriers such as travel distances and long wait times.
