American Fusion Inc. (OTC: AMFN) announced it has filed 19 additional U.S. patent applications covering multiple aspects of its Texatron Fusion Engine, increasing its total patent filings to 76 as the company works toward a goal of more than 260 applications. The newly filed patents span reactor architecture, plasma confinement, electromagnetic systems, fuel delivery, reactor control and power management, with the company stating the filings support continued development of the Texatron platform.

American Fusion also said its engineering and operations team has begun preparations at Texas Tech University for next week’s planned testing program, including installation and calibration of key testing infrastructure. Separately, the company noted that scientific adviser Dr. John E. Brandenburg is scheduled to present the Texatron Fusion Engine at a conference at Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory as part of its ongoing scientific outreach efforts.
