Andina Copper Corporation (TSX-V: ANDC | FSE: FIR | OTCQB: PMMCF) has reported an outstanding drill intercept from CDH007, the second hole completed from a new step-out drill pad at the Cobrasco Project in Chocó, Colombia. Following high-grade Cu-Mo intersections in recent drillholes CDH003 to CDH005, a new pad was collared to test the continuity and extension of the Cobrasco Central mineralized system to the northwest. CDH006, drilled southwest along this section line, intersected 232m @ 0.68% Cu, 75ppm Mo, and 2 g/t Ag from 38m. CDH007 was drilled northeast from the same pad, parallel to previous holes CDH001 and CDH004.
Results from CDH007 further expand the system northwest, closely mirroring CDH006 with near-surface mineralization starting at 44m and continuing uninterrupted to 324m, where a fault zone terminates the mineralized host unit. The intercept confirms a significant extension: 292m @ 0.48% Cu, 62ppm Mo, and 1.7 g/t Ag from 44m. Additional step-out holes CDH008 (completed) and CDH009 (in progress) from the same pad are testing extensions to the north and northwest, with assays pending.
The ongoing scout drilling program continues to rapidly expand the mineralized footprint at Cobrasco Central. Every drillhole completed to date has reported significant porphyry Cu-Mo intercepts from surface or near-surface to depths of approximately 600m. The current footprint measures approximately 1,000m x 500m, remains open in all directions, and is expected to expand further with results from CDH008 and CDH009. High-grade intervals will be targeted with a second drill rig.

Step-out drillholes CDH008 and CDH009 are expected to further extend the drillhole defined mineralization footprint.”
Geology and mineralization in CDH007 are broadly consistent with CDH006, dominated by chalcopyrite within structurally prepared zones. Strong argillic alteration in near-surface saprolite transitions to phyllic and grey-green sericite alteration in competent core, with sporadic bornite. Mineralization from surface shows subdued grades to 48m, then strongly fractured rhyolitic porphyry to 218m with a high-grade interval. Magmatic breccias with high-grade assays greater than 1% Cu occur from 254-284m and 292-324m, exhibiting intense A-veins as stockwork veining and chalcopyrite as fault gouge and fracture fill. A fault at 324m marks the end of brecciation, below which a dacitic-andesitic intrusive unit extends to 436m with decreased grades, followed by a poorly mineralized granodiorite to tonalite intrusion to the end of the hole at 603m.
These results underscore the project's potential as a world-class copper porphyry complex, with multiple intrusive phases and mineralization events occurring at or near surface.
