Bestselling author Elizabeth Graham, an authority on the Trump-Putin relationship, has issued a stark warning that the United States is succumbing to tyranny under a traitorous president. In a recent Substack post, Graham, who spent nearly twenty years in Russia, Central Asia, and Ukraine, argues that Donald Trump is a traitor controlled by Russian President Vladimir Putin, leading the country toward despotism.
Graham quotes Roman statesman Cicero: "A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within." She asserts that many Americans fail to recognize Trump as a traitor, a denial she compares to Mark Twain's proverb: "It ain't what you don't know that gets you into trouble. It is what you know for sure that just ain't so."
According to Graham, Trump's actions align with Putin's wishes, including removing U.S. troops from Germany, undermining NATO, closing USAID, and weakening the United States. She claims that Russia's disinformation campaign has succeeded in deceiving Americans, citing Trump's legal troubles: business fraud, 34 felony counts for hush money payments, and a sexual assault conviction that legally labels him a "sexual predator."
Graham details her personal experience in Russia, including her daughter's work at a Moscow nightclub that provided underage prostitution to Western men, where Trump allegedly visited and was photographed. She references an interview with former KGB operative Oleg Kalugin, who confirmed that Trump was "wined and dined, and then trapped" by the KGB.
She connects the closure of USAID to Elon Musk's visit to Moscow, citing reports from The Lancet and the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health that predict 22 million preventable deaths by 2030, mostly children. Graham calls this "deliberate murder" akin to Hitler's genocide or Stalin's purges, motivated by racism.
Graham also points to financial ties between Trump and Russia, noting that Russian bailouts and money laundering through Trump condos have increased his net worth by $2 billion in the last year, according to Forbes. She warns that Trump may attempt to extend his rule beyond 2028, similar to Putin's extended tenure.
Graham's book, 'From Democracy To Democrazy: A Warning To All Americans', available on Amazon, has received rave reviews. One reader stated, "The evidence described in this book by the author Ms. Graham is substantial." Another called it "a must read to understand how the President in name only is clearly tied to Putin's world."
