Bogin, Munns & Munns, P.A. announced that immigration attorney Amin R. Yacoub has been selected as a recipient of the American Bar Association Young Lawyers Division's 2026 On the Rise — Top 40 Young Lawyers Award. The national award recognizes 40 ABA young lawyer members who demonstrate exceptional achievement, innovation, leadership and service to the legal profession and their communities.
Yacoub was selected for his accomplishments as a business immigration attorney, legal scholar and advocate for individuals and businesses navigating the United States immigration system. Based in Orlando, he represents clients nationwide in employment-based immigration matters, with a particular focus on EB-2 National Interest Waiver and EB-1 Extraordinary Ability petitions.
Yacoub brings a perspective to that work that few immigration attorneys can offer. Having personally obtained permanent residency through the National Interest Waiver process, he understands firsthand what is at stake for the professionals, entrepreneurs, physicians, scientists, engineers, researchers and investors who come to him for representation.
"Immigration cases are rarely just paperwork. They decide where someone builds a career, raises a family and contributes their work," said Yacoub. "I went through the National Interest Waiver process myself, so I know what my clients are carrying while they wait. This recognition belongs as much to them as it does to me."

Yacoub is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and multiple federal courts. His professional work extends beyond client representation. Yacoub is also an accomplished legal scholar whose published work has been cited by courts and scholars in the United States and internationally. He earned a Master of Laws in International Law from New York University School of Law, where he received a full-tuition scholarship and served as a graduate editor of the NYU Journal of International Law and Politics.
