CAHEC, a nonprofit community development organization, announced the appointment of Corine Sheridan to its Board of Directors, effective January 1, 2026. Sheridan brings over 40 years of experience in affordable housing finance and investment, enhancing the board's expertise as CAHEC continues its work in the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions.
Sheridan retired in late 2024 after a career dedicated to expanding affordable housing access nationwide. Most recently, she served as Senior Vice President and Head of Acquisitions at Berkadia from 2021 to 2024, where she led the Tax Credit Syndication team's nationwide origination and acquisition strategy. Prior to Berkadia, she spent nearly two decades at Boston Capital as Director of Originations, developing and executing the firm's targeted origination strategy and directing capital to communities with critical housing needs.
In 2024, Sheridan co-founded Sheridan Consulting, a firm providing financial and organizational expertise to nonprofits, housing authorities, and other affordable housing practitioners. Her ongoing commitment is also evident in her board service with the Light House Shelter in Annapolis, Maryland, the Anne Arundel County Affordable Housing Coalition, and the Real Estate Committee of True Ground in Arlington, Virginia.

CAHEC strengthens communities by providing affordable housing and supportive service initiatives.
