David Ebrahimzadeh Grant Opens for Undergraduates Interested in Real Estate Innovation

David Ebrahimzadeh, founder and president of Corniche Capital, has announced a new national grant for undergraduate students pursuing careers in real estate. The David Ebrahimzadeh Grant, established to encourage original research and forward-thinking ideas, will award $1,000 to one student selected from accredited colleges and universities across the United States.

The grant focuses on the future of industrial real estate, a sector undergoing significant transformation due to technological advances, sustainability imperatives, and evolving supply chain needs. Eligible students are invited to submit an essay of 750 to 1,000 words addressing the official prompt: identify one innovation or emerging trend likely to have the greatest impact on the real estate industry and explain how they plan to contribute to its development through their careers.

According to Ebrahimzadeh, the grant reflects his commitment to education and innovation. His career spans decades in private equity, industrial real estate, and technology, with a national portfolio exceeding 10 million square feet of industrial assets. He also holds three U.S. patents and authored The Patent Playbook: From Idea to Approval, offering guidance on the intellectual property process.

Applications must be submitted by April 15, 2027, with the winner announced on May 15, 2027. The award is intended to support educational pursuits and recognize students who demonstrate critical thinking about industry shifts, including automation, green building practices, and changing logistics patterns.
