Fitzroy Minerals Inc. (TSXV: FTZ, OTCQB: FTZFF) announced on February 11, 2026, that Expert Geophysics Surveys Inc. has initiated a 750 line-kilometre mobile magnetotelluric (MobileMT) heliborne survey at the Caballos Copper Project in Valparaiso, Chile. The survey is expected to be completed within two days, with interpreted results anticipated in March 2026.
MobileMT is a leading geophysical technology that aids in identifying subsurface geologic structures, alteration halos, and contrasting lithologies. The survey will cover the entire Caballos Copper Project, and when combined with complementary VLF-EM data, should yield increased resolution of shallow features. This integrated approach is designed to identify deep-seated faults, lithological contacts, and structures controlling mineral systems from the surface to depths of approximately 1 km to 2 km, depending on the conductivity distribution of the local geology.
