Formycon and OneSource Specialty Pharma Forge Strategic Biosimilar Manufacturing Partnership

Formycon AG and OneSource Specialty Pharma Limited announced a strategic manufacturing partnership for biosimilars on July 14, 2026. Under the agreement, OneSource will provide integrated Drug Substance (DS) and Drug Product (DP) manufacturing from its biologics facility in Bangalore, India, supporting Formycon's biosimilar programs for global markets.

The collaboration combines Formycon's biosimilar development expertise with OneSource's end-to-end biologics manufacturing capabilities. Dr. Stefan Glombitza, CEO of Formycon, emphasized that "reliable, scalable and cost-efficient manufacturing is a cornerstone of our FYB4Growth strategy" and that adding OneSource strengthens supply capabilities with a partner meeting their commitment to quality and cost-efficiency. Neeraj Sharma, Managing Director & CEO of OneSource, noted the partnership reinforces India's position as a global hub for biologics manufacturing and will expand access to affordable biologics worldwide.

Formycon's FYB4Growth strategy includes geographic diversification, smart portfolio management, innovation, and cost efficiency. The company has three biosimilars on the market (FYB201/ranibizumab, FYB202/ustekinumab, FYB203/aflibercept) and a pipeline including FYB206/pembrolizumab and FYB208/dupilumab. OneSource operates five facilities approved by global regulators, including the US FDA and EMA, and offers expertise in biologics, sterile injectables, and drug-device combinations. This partnership is significant as it aims to broaden sustainable global access to life-changing biosimilar therapies by combining development excellence with scalable, cost-effective manufacturing. With biosimilars representing a growing market—global sales are projected to exceed $74 billion by 2030—this collaboration positions both companies to meet increasing demand for affordable biopharmaceuticals.
