Written by founder Olivia F. Scott and produced using generative AI software Suno, the song is designed to mirror the theta brainwave state, which is associated with inward focus, deep relaxation, and daydreaming.
The track is available in a full-length vocally driven version and a chill version featuring theta waves for in-class use, accessible via Freedom at The Mat's YouTube Channel and on major streaming platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music beginning January 7, 2026. Scott emphasized that the anthem serves as a 'sonic bridge' to self-reflection and validation for women seeking connection and renewal in the new year.
'Given that music is a healing tool, and that New Orleans is such a music-driven city, we intend for 'Grace As I Grow' to be a healing balm used in class and accessible online for women to both zen out and be reminded of their vulnerability, strength & promise,' Scott said in the announcement.
Freedom at The Mat offers integrated wellness classes combining breathwork, journaling, and vinyasa yoga.
