Gerresheimer AG announced a change in its Supervisory Board, appointing Klaus Rohrig, co-founder and Co-Chief Investment Officer of the Active Ownership Group, effective immediately. Rohrig succeeds Dr. Dorothea Wenzel, who stepped down to facilitate a board composition that better reflects the company's changed shareholder structure. Rohrig will serve until the next Annual General Meeting in June 2026 and has also assumed Wenzel's role on the Audit Committee.
Dr. Axel Herberg, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, expressed gratitude to Wenzel for her contributions. “We sincerely thank Dr. Dorothea Wenzel for her dedicated work on the Supervisory Board and the Audit Committee. With her expertise and experience, she has made a significant contribution to the fulfillment of the committee’s duties,” Herberg said.
Rohrig will stand for election at the Annual General Meeting on June 3, 2026, where four shareholder representatives will be up for election on the co-determined Supervisory Board. This appointment underscores Gerresheimer's commitment to aligning governance with its investor base.
