Golden Cariboo's Inaugural Resource at Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine Outlines Over 1 Million Ounces Gold, Open in All Directions

Golden Cariboo Resources Ltd. has released an inaugural independent Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) for its 100%-owned Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine Property in central British Columbia, marking a pivotal moment for the company and the surrounding region. The MRE, effective September 26, 2026, was prepared by Sue Bird, P.Eng., of Bird Resource Consulting Corp., an independent Qualified Person under NI 43-101. The estimate outlines 10 million tonnes at 0.56 g/t gold equivalent (AuEq) containing 178,000 ounces of gold in the Indicated category, plus 71 million tonnes at 0.44 g/t AuEq for 1.0 million ounces of gold in the Inferred category, using a 0.15 g/t AuEq cut-off grade and an open-pit constraint.

What makes this resource particularly significant is its efficiency and growth potential. The estimate was defined from only 24 of the 30 company drill holes, totaling less than 8,500 metres of drilling, yet has outlined over 1.0 million ounces of inferred gold and 178,000 ounces of indicated gold. The Halo deposit occurs over a strike length of 1,150 metres by about 420 metres wide and remains open in all directions. Equally important, the Main zone remains outside the current estimate, as do four other parallel, similar-styled geophysical and geochemical targets with multi-kilometer potential. This suggests substantial opportunity for future resource growth with additional drilling.

President and CEO Frank Callaghan commented, "This inaugural mineral resource estimate is a tremendous achievement for Golden Cariboo and validates the strength of the Halo discovery." He also highlighted the project's excellent infrastructure: located only 4 kilometres from Hixon, BC, the Property has year-round road access and benefits from an existing rail corridor. Major suppliers, contractors, and regional mining support services are readily accessible from nearby Prince George and Quesnel, both approximately 45 minutes away, which also host regional and international airports. This established network positions the project to efficiently advance exploration and development while maximizing opportunities for local employment and economic benefits throughout the Cariboo region.

The resource estimate is detailed in Table 1. Inaugural Mineral Resource Estimate for the Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine Property at the Base Case cutoff - Effective Date September 26, 2026, which provides the full breakdown of tonnages, grades, and contained metal. A sensitivity analysis on cut-off grade is presented in Table 2 is provided to illustrate the sensitivity of the estimate to cut-off grade. The base-case cut-off used for the Mineral Resource Statement is highlighted. Sensitivity cases do not constitute alternative Mineral Resource Statements., showing how the resource varies with different economic assumptions. A long-section through the center of the deposit, looking southwest, is available in Click to see the figure which is a long-section through the center of the deposit, looking SW at Az=235o. The figure plots the composited and block Au grades for both the Halo and North Hixon zones of the deposit. The resource pit is shown in black with, illustrating the distribution of gold grades within the resource pit.

The implications of this announcement extend beyond the immediate numbers. The MRE serves as a foundation for ongoing step-out and infill drilling at the Halo deposit, targeting upgrades of Inferred to Indicated resources, as well as metallurgical testwork and environmental baseline studies. The company intends to use the estimate to guide future exploration and potentially advance toward a preliminary economic assessment. However, investors should note that mineral resources are not mineral reserves and do not have demonstrated economic viability. The estimate may be materially affected by environmental, permitting, legal, title, taxation, socio-political, marketing, or other relevant issues. Additionally, the project is located in the traditional territory of Lheidli T'enneh First Nation, and future permitting will require consultation and accommodation.

The technical report supporting the MRE will be filed on SEDAR+ within 45 days, as required by NI 43-101. Golden Cariboo Resources Ltd. is rediscovering the Cariboo Gold Rush through highly targeted drilling and trenching programs on its Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine Property, which is bordered by Osisko Gold Group and located along a favourable geological corridor.
