Greenland Mines Acquires 9.9% Stake in AnorTech, Expands into Midstream Processing

Greenland Mines Ltd. (NASDAQ: GRML) has entered into a strategic share exchange agreement with AnorTech Inc. (TSX.V: ANOR) (OTCQB: ANORF), acquiring an initial 9.9% equity interest in the Greenland-focused technology and resource development company. The company also holds an option to increase its ownership to as much as 19.9% within six months. The investment supports Greenland Mines' North Atlantic Critical Metals Corridor strategy and provides exposure to AnorTech's sustainable alumina, high-purity alumina, CO2-free cement and industrial materials technologies derived from its Gronne Bjerg anorthosite project in Greenland.

According to the announcement, the transaction expands Greenland Mines' reach beyond upstream resource development into the midstream processing segment of the critical materials value chain. AnorTech is advancing a proprietary process designed to produce sustainable smelter-grade alumina and high-purity alumina from anorthosite while eliminating conventional bauxite-residue tailings. The transaction is expected to close by June 30, subject to customary closing conditions, including acceptance by the TSX Venture Exchange. This strategic move underscores Greenland Mines' commitment to building a multi-asset platform with exposure to rare earth magnet materials, precious metals and selected midstream processing opportunities. The company operates two divisions: Mining, focused on the exploration and development of the Skaergaard Project in southeast Greenland and, subject to closing of the previously announced transaction, the Sarfartoq neodymium-praseodymium (Nd-Pr) rare earths project in southwest Greenland; and Biotech, including Klotho's KLTO-202 primary indication for ALS. Greenland Mines' broader North Atlantic Critical Metals Corridor vision links Greenland resources with allied downstream jurisdictions and industrial infrastructure. The investment in AnorTech represents a significant step for Greenland Mines in diversifying its portfolio and gaining a foothold in innovative processing technologies. AnorTech's environmentally friendly methods could potentially revolutionize alumina production by avoiding the environmental challenges associated with bauxite mining and red mud tailings. As the demand for critical minerals and sustainable industrial processes grows, this partnership positions both companies to capitalize on emerging opportunities in the green economy. The transaction also highlights the strategic importance of Greenland's mineral resources and the potential for developing a complete value chain from extraction to processing within the region.
