Greenland Mines (NASDAQ: GRML) has provided a comprehensive update on its key projects following a period of strategic rebranding and corporate development. In a shareholder letter, President Dr. Bo Moller Stensgaard detailed the recent closing of the Sarfartoq Neodymium-Praseodymium Rare Earths Project acquisition on September 1, a significant step in the company's rare earth supply chain strategy. The acquisition brings with it an independent Initial Assessment that projects a high-case pre-tax net present value of approximately $2.05 billion and an internal rate of return of 118.6%, including both Indicated and Inferred Mineral Resources. The resource estimate for Sarfartoq has been updated to 6.9 million tonnes of Indicated resources at 1.60% total rare earth oxides (TREO) and 5.3 million tonnes of Inferred resources at 0.96% TREO, underscoring the project's scale and quality.

The company also highlighted the strategic involvement of Neo Performance Materials, which holds offtake rights for up to 60% of future Sarfartoq production. Concurrently, Greenland Mines is advancing its Skaergaard palladium-gold-platinum project in southeast Greenland. The company's July 2026 S-K 1300 Technical Report Summary demonstrated a 36% increase in Indicated palladium-equivalent (PdEq) grade and a 31% increase in contained Indicated PdEq ounces compared to the 2022 estimate. This upgrade reflects ongoing geological understanding and resource definition. The 2026 field program at Skaergaard is already underway, encompassing drilling, bulk sampling, geotechnical studies, and environmental baseline surveys. Bulk material will be sent to GTK Mintec in Finland for metallurgical and processing flowsheet testing, a critical step toward developing a viable extraction process.
