H2APEX Group SCA, a leading operator and developer of green hydrogen plants, announced today that it is raising its revenue forecast for the full year 2025 to EUR 9 million to EUR 10 million, up from the previous range of EUR 6 million to EUR 8 million. The increased forecast reflects the initial success of the company's adjusted strategy, which emphasizes expanding its own hydrogen production capacities and offering services to external customers and joint ventures.
The unexpected revenue increase is largely attributed to the joint IPCEI-funded project with Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) in Lubmin, for which H2APEX has provided initial project development services. This project is expected to have a capacity of 100 MW in the first expansion stage. Additionally, H2APEX plans to implement smaller-scale hydrogen projects to meet strong demand without requiring pipeline connections.
Peter Roßner, CEO of H2APEX, stated: "We see the increased revenue forecast as a clear first sign that we have made the right decision with our focus on expanding our own hydrogen production capacities and external services. In the medium to long term, H2APEX expects to generate the majority of its revenue from the operation of its own plants, aiming for greater revenue stability, predictable cash flow, and improved scalability. The company also sees further revenue potential in providing services such as operation and maintenance of hydrogen plants and project development for external customers and joint ventures. Additionally, H2APEX continues to develop its own hydrogen storage solutions to enable efficient transport.
