innoscripta Expands Clusterix R&D Documentation Platform to 14 European Markets

innoscripta SE has acquired new customers in several European countries during the current financial year, extending the reach of its Clusterix research and development documentation platform to 14 countries. The Tutzing, Germany-based company said it signed contracts in Poland with businesses across automotive supply, telecommunications and household goods, all seeking to benefit from the Polish R&D tax relief scheme. It also gained customers in Romania, Denmark, Finland, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal, Slovakia and the Netherlands. These additions join existing customer relationships in Germany, Austria, France, the United Kingdom and the United States.

The expansion matters because almost every European country offers tax incentives for research and development, but each maintains its own instruments and regulatory requirements. Companies must document which employees worked on which projects, when the work was performed and how much time was spent. Clusterix addresses these requirements through ongoing recording of project hours by employee, day and project, supported by system-based plausibility checks and monthly approval by responsible project managers. For internationally operating corporate groups, the platform provides a consistent documentation framework regardless of the specific tax incentive scheme applicable in each jurisdiction.

Poland represents a particularly attractive growth market. Under the Polish R&D tax relief scheme, known as ulga B+R, eligible personnel costs can be deducted at a rate of 200%. As in Germany, the Polish Corporate Income Tax Act provides that personnel costs qualify only in proportion to the time actually spent on research and development by each employee during the respective month. Polish law also explicitly requires R&D costs to be recorded separately in accounting records. Clusterix's monthly, employee-level time tracking enables customers to meet these demanding documentation requirements.

Sebastian Schwertlein, COO of innoscripta SE, said the platform was developed for the most demanding market the company knew: Germany. He noted that customers from different industries in Poland, the Netherlands and Finland are now turning to the company, demonstrating that the documentation framework works across borders and is scalable wherever R&D incentives depend on reliable supporting evidence. Schwertlein added that 14 countries are not an endpoint and described the growth as clear evidence that the platform delivers value to businesses across Europe.

The announcement signals that demand for standardized R&D documentation is rising as multinational companies seek to capture tax incentives in multiple jurisdictions without duplicating compliance efforts. By offering a single framework that adapts to local rules, innoscripta positions itself to benefit from the fragmentation of European R&D tax regimes.
