The Supervisory Board of KION GROUP AG has extended the term of Chief Financial Officer Christian Harm until July 2029, a move that ensures continuity in the Executive Board and reinforces the leadership of the company's financial organization. The decision, announced on January 12, 2026, underscores the board's confidence in Harm's ability to navigate the company through ongoing volatile macroeconomic and geopolitical conditions.
Mohsen Sohi, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, highlighted Harm's contributions since taking office in July 2023. "Christian Harm initiated and successfully drove key projects within KION's financial organization, significantly contributing to the resilient development of the company in a volatile environment," Sohi said. "With Christian Harm's deep knowledge of the capital markets community, he will ensure continuity and ongoing trustful relationships with all key stakeholders."
Harm, who has over 20 years of experience within KION and its predecessor company Linde AG, played a pivotal role in strategic initiatives such as KION's Initial Public Offering in 2013 and the acquisition of Dematic in 2016. His career at KION includes leadership roles in procurement, strategy, and finance. Prior to joining KION, he worked at Unilever, McKinsey & Company, and Linde AG.
KION GROUP AG, a leading supplier of industrial trucks and supply chain solutions, operates in over 100 countries. The company reported revenue of approximately EUR 11.5 billion in the 2024 financial year and employs more than 42,000 people.
