The acquisition of STTGDC by a consortium led by global investment firm KKR and Singtel has been completed, marking a significant milestone in the evolution of the digital infrastructure platform. The consortium's investment provides STTGDC with enhanced financial flexibility and long-term capital, enabling the company to scale its operations and meet the growing demand for AI-ready data centers across Asia, the United Kingdom, and Europe. This move underscores the strategic importance of digital infrastructure in supporting the next generation of cloud and AI growth.

STTGDC has unveiled a refreshed global brand, retaining its name but introducing the concept of 'Built Ready' to reflect its commitment to delivering reliable, resilient, and AI-ready infrastructure. The company's leadership team remains unchanged, ensuring continuity in strategy and customer focus. Bruno Lopez, President and Group CEO of STTGDC, emphasized that this acquisition represents a turning point in the company's history, providing greater capacity to execute at scale while upholding the values that have defined its growth over the past decade.

The company enters this new phase with robust operating momentum. Since the end of 2025, operational capacity has increased by 25% to 780MW, contracted capacity has grown by 50%, and annualized EBITDA has risen by 30%. This growth is driven by sustained demand from hyperscalers, cloud service providers, AI customers, and enterprises. As AI transforms data center requirements, the industry's challenge lies in converting demand into delivered capacity, which necessitates coordinated planning across power, cooling, design, supply chains, and financing. STTGDC's strategy focuses on markets with favorable conditions for responsible development, backed by nearly 2GW of powered land for ongoing and pipeline projects.

In India, STTGDC operates 34 data centers across 10 cities, with over 613MW of IT capacity, strategically scaling to support the country's digital economy. In Indonesia, the company is expanding its Jakarta campus, advancing a pipeline of more than 360MW of AI-ready capacity with secured power. Singapore remains a key market, with STTGDC selected to develop 50MW of sustainable, AI-ready data center capacity, contributing to the nation's strategic and sustainability goals.

Responsible growth remains integral to STTGDC's operations. The company sources 83.2% of its electricity from renewable energy, surpassing its 2028 carbon intensity reduction target three years ahead of schedule. This commitment extends to working closely with governments, customers, and communities to address local priorities and maintain the trust essential for its social license to operate. With the consortium's backing, STTGDC is well-positioned to navigate the complexities of global digital infrastructure and continue its trajectory of growth and innovation.
