LaFleur Minerals Appoints Three Directors to Bolster Mining and Capital Markets Expertise as Swanson Gold Project Advances

LaFleur Minerals Inc. (CSE: LFLR) (OTCQB: LFLRF) (FSE: 3WK0) has announced the appointments of Paul Ténière, Peter Espig, and Jeff Swinoga to its board of directors, effective immediately. The additions come as the company advances the Swanson Gold Project and plans to restart gold production at the Beacon Gold Mill in Val-d’Or, Quebec, located in the prolific Abitibi Gold Belt. The new directors bring extensive experience across mining operations, capital markets, and corporate leadership, which the company says will support governance and strategic oversight during its next phase of project development and planned production restart.

Paul Ténière is a mining engineer with over 40 years of experience in mine construction, operations, and management. He has held senior positions at several mining companies and has been involved in the development and operation of numerous gold mines. Peter Espig brings more than 30 years of experience in capital markets and corporate finance, having served as a director and advisor for various public companies. Jeff Swinoga has a background in corporate law and governance, with experience as a director and officer of several publicly traded companies. Their appointments follow the resignations of Preet Gill and Harveer Sidhu from the board, effective March 15, 2026.

LaFleur Minerals is focused on the development of district-scale gold projects in the Abitibi Gold Belt. The Swanson Gold Project is approximately 18,304 hectares (183 km²) and includes several prospects rich in gold and critical metals previously held by Monarch Mining, Abcourt Mines, and Globex Mining. The company has consolidated a large land package along a major structural break that hosts the Swanson, Bartec, and Jolin gold deposits. The project is easily accessible by road, allowing direct access to several nearby gold mills, enhancing its development potential. The fully permitted and refurbished Beacon Gold Mill is capable of processing over 750 tonnes per day and is being considered for processing mineralized material from Swanson and for custom milling operations for other nearby gold projects.

The appointment of these directors signals LaFleur Minerals' commitment to strengthening its board with expertise that aligns with its strategic goals. The company aims to advance the Swanson Gold Project and restart the Beacon Gold Mill, which could provide significant value to shareholders and contribute to the local economy. The new board members are expected to provide guidance on operational, financial, and governance matters as the company moves forward with these initiatives.
