LaFleur Minerals Inc. (CSE: LFLR) (OTCQB: LFLRF) has announced an upsized non-brokered private placement under the Listed Issuer Financing Exemption (LIFE), increasing the offering to up to $4.5 million to meet strong investor demand. The financing, initially announced on December 15, will provide full capital for the restart of gold production at the company's Beacon Gold Mill, located in the Abitibi Gold Belt near Val d'Or, Quebec. This strategic move positions LaFleur as a near-term producer in one of the world's most prolific gold regions.
The Beacon Gold Mill was acquired in a state of readiness, requiring only minor equipment upgrades to resume operations at a capacity of up to 750 tonnes per day. With the completion of this financing, LaFleur is fully funded to restart production, marking a significant milestone for the company. The mill is located approximately 50 kilometers from the Swanson Gold Project, LaFleur's advanced-stage exploration asset, which will serve as the primary source of mineralized material for processing.
In addition to the LIFE offering, LaFleur is conducting a flow-through-eligible (FT) offering for gross proceeds of up to $1.5 million, which will fund operations at the Swanson Gold Project. The combined financings underscore the company's commitment to advancing its assets in the Abitibi Belt, a region renowned for its historical and ongoing gold production.
The news comes amid a banner year for gold, which has hit record territory 50 times in 2025 and sustained prices above $4,000 per ounce. LaFleur's financing provides investors with a straightforward opportunity to participate in what many analysts view as a long-term gold rush. The company's focus on production readiness and its strategic assets in Quebec position it to capitalize on favorable market conditions.
