Lincoln Gold Mining Inc. (TSXV:LMG) announced that the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Plan of Operations for its Bell Mountain Gold-Silver Project in Churchill County, Nevada, has been formally transferred to the company’s wholly owned subsidiary, Lincoln Resource Group Corp. This milestone follows the company’s acquisition of the project in January 2025 and completes the consolidation of key operational permits and mineral claims under a single corporate structure.
The BLM Plan of Operations is a critical federal permit required for mining activities on public lands. Its transfer, along with the previously transferred Water Pollution Control Permit and mineral claims, means that Lincoln now holds the principal authorizations needed to advance the project. According to the company, this strengthens the execution framework for ongoing technical evaluation, engineering work, and development planning at Bell Mountain.
Bell Mountain is an advanced-stage gold-silver project with a historical NI 43-101 Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) that outlines a conceptual heap leach development scenario. The PEA, filed prior to Lincoln’s acquisition, provides a baseline for future studies. The company is now focused on updating technical work and engaging with potential financing partners to fund the next phase of project advancement.
Ian Rogers, Chairman and CEO of Lincoln Gold Mining, stated: “Completion of the BLM Plan of Operations transfer represents another important milestone in the consolidation of Bell Mountain within Lincoln’s operating structure. With the principal permits and mineral tenure now consolidated under the Company’s subsidiary structure, Lincoln is positioned to continue advancing technical evaluation, engineering, and development planning activities at Bell Mountain. We continue to engage with potential financing partners as we evaluate the next phase of project advancement.”
The company is actively progressing discussions regarding funding options. Subject to securing financing and customary approvals, Lincoln intends to advance engineering and development planning. The Bell Mountain Project was acquired from Eros Resources Corp. and its subsidiary Bell Mountain Exploration Corp. under a definitive agreement dated November 3, 2023, with consideration including common shares and a net profits interest royalty.
Lincoln Gold Mining is a Canadian precious metals exploration and development company headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia. Its portfolio includes the Bell Mountain Gold-Silver Project and the Pine Grove Gold Project, both in Nevada. Bell Mountain is the nearer-term development focus, with permits in place, while Pine Grove is a larger-scale project in the permitting and evaluation stage. Both projects are located within Nevada’s Walker Lane mineral belt, a well-established mining jurisdiction with existing infrastructure and a skilled workforce.
The company’s strategy is to advance its portfolio through staged development, technical de-risking, and capital formation, with the goal of progressing toward mid-tier gold producer status. The BLM Plan of Operations transfer is a key step in reducing permitting risk and enhancing the project’s attractiveness to potential financiers.
