LogicMark Inc. (OTC: LGMK) announced the integration of medication reminders into its Freedom Alert Max personal emergency response system (PERS), marking the first time medication management has been built directly into a medical alert device. The new capability eliminates the need for separate reminder apps or additional tools, streamlining care for aging adults and their caregivers, according to the company.

The medication reminder feature is available on the Freedom Alert Max, which already offers 24/7 monitoring, fall detection, geofencing, emergency caregiver video, GPS location tracking, and two-way communication. Users or caregivers can enter multiple medications and detailed dosage information through the Care Village app. Notifications and dosage instructions are then sent directly to the device, allowing the wearer to confirm taking medication or select “Remind Me Later.” If no response is received, the system logs the information in LogicMark’s backend, where it is processed through the company’s patented Care Processing technology to analyze patterns that could contribute to falls or emergencies.
The data also feeds into LogicMark’s patent-pending Care Village Digital Twin technology, which creates a virtual mirror of the user to predict future outcomes and enable proactive care. For example, if a user fails to confirm taking medication, the system can identify potential issues before a fall or safety event occurs. A caregiver can program multiple medications with dosages and timings, and the device sends reminders while logging responses, simplifying oversight.
This integration is part of LogicMark’s broader shift from standalone emergency alert devices to a comprehensive Caring Platform as a Service (CPaaS) that unites safety, health management, and analytics. The company’s hardware collects real-time data, which is analyzed by its AI- and machine-learning-driven platform to help patients and caregivers manage care both at home and on the go.

LogicMark reports strong demand for its advanced wearable safety solutions, which now include medication management as a standard feature.
