Phoenix audiences are invited to spend an evening with two commanding voices in American entertainment when Martha Wash and Marsha Warfield bring It's Raining Queens™ to Stage West at the Herberger Theater Center on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at 7 p.m.

From her groundbreaking success as one half of The Weather Girls to the unmistakable vocals that powered multi-platinum recordings by Black Box and C&C Music Factory, Wash has helped create some of the most enduring dance and pop anthems of all time. Acclaimed comedian, actress, writer, and television host Marsha Warfield brings the fearless wit and commanding presence that have distinguished her career for nearly five decades. Her early television breakthrough came as a performer on NBC's groundbreaking The Richard Pryor Show, alongside an extraordinary ensemble that included Robin Williams, Sandra Bernhard, Paul Mooney, and John Witherspoon. Warfield became a household name as the quick-witted, no-nonsense Roz Russell on NBC's Night Court. She later starred as Dr. Maxine Douglas on Empty Nest and made television history on her own terms as host of the NBC daytime talk program The Marsha Warfield Show. Her extensive career also includes film, stand-up comedy, HBO appearances, and recent roles on Netflix's The Upshaws and ABC's 9-1-1.
