MAX Power is an innovative mineral and energy exploration company focused on the transition to decarbonization. Its flagship Lawson Discovery near Central Butte, Saskatchewan, represents Canada's first-ever subsurface Natural Hydrogen system confirmed through deep drilling, with data validated by three independent labs. The company has built a dominant district-scale land position across Saskatchewan, with approximately 1.3 million acres (521,000 hectares) of permits covering prime exploration ground prospective for large-volume accumulations of Natural Hydrogen.
Beyond its Natural Hydrogen assets, MAX Power holds a portfolio of properties in the United States and Canada focused on critical minerals. These include the Willcox Playa Lithium Project in southeast Arizona, where a 2024 diamond drilling discovery was made. The project is 100%-owned by MAX Power's U.S. subsidiary. The company is committed to responsible exploration and development practices that prioritize environmental stewardship, meaningful community engagement, and strong corporate governance.
The injection of capital from Eric Sprott is a significant endorsement of MAX Power's strategy and the potential of Natural Hydrogen as a clean energy resource. With the funds earmarked for the Lawson Complex drill program, the company is poised to advance its understanding of the subsurface hydrogen system and move closer to commercial viability. This development comes at a time when the global energy transition is driving increased interest in alternative and sustainable energy sources, and MAX Power is well-positioned to capitalize on this trend.
