MediKeeper's Dr. Tyler Amell to Speak at Global Health and Benefits Conferences

MediKeeper has announced that Dr. Tyler Amell, its Chief Health and Strategy Officer, will speak at several health and employee benefits conferences throughout North America and Europe this fall. Starting Aug. 25, Dr. Amell will travel to Scottsdale, Arizona; Halifax, Nova Scotia; Edinburgh, Scotland; and New Orleans, Louisiana, to share insights on best practices in workplace health and productivity.

"It is a great honor to be asked to deliver keynotes, plenary, breakout or workshop presentations that are of importance to conference attendees and organizers alike. There is so much good evidence out there, and such critical need for unbiased, outcome-based information to help guide employee health and wellness programming, that I am pleased to play a small role in the conference education experience of so many people," says Dr. Amell.

Dr. Amell will deliver a keynote at the International Society of Certified Employee Benefits Specialists (ISCEBS) Symposium Conference in Scottsdale, Arizona, on Aug. 26. The Symposium, which takes place Aug. 23-26, is a large gathering of credentialed benefits professionals from across North America. His presentation will focus on workplace health as a strategic imperative for organizations.

After Scottsdale, Dr. Amell will head to Halifax, Nova Scotia, to speak at the 59th annual Canadian Employee Benefits Conference, running Aug. 30-Sept. 2. He will present an in-depth workshop on living your best retirement from a preventive health perspective. The Canadian Employee Benefits Conference supports comprehensive education for pension and benefit professionals.

Next, Dr. Amell will travel to Edinburgh, Scotland, to speak at the International Forum on Disability Management (IFDM) on Sept. 22-23. There, he will deliver a keynote address on modern integrated strategies for success in workplace health and productivity, work disability, and return to work. The IFDM connects international colleagues on issues in their countries and supports international peer learning concerning workplace disability, health, and wellness.

Dr. Amell will conclude his fall tour in New Orleans at the flagship 72nd annual Employee Benefits Conference, where he will discuss causes of worker burnout, the role of mental health initiatives, low-cost considerations, and best practices for implementation. The conference, taking place Oct. 25-28, helps attendees learn the tools, insights, and connections they need to drive meaningful change and make informed decisions about employee health and wellness benefits, retirement, benefits administration, pension, and investments.

Dr. Amell is an internationally recognized leader on workplace health and productivity. He serves on the executive board of directors of the Wellness Alliance and is on faculty at Pacific Coast University for Workplace Health Sciences.
