Meridianbet, a sports betting and gaming operator and subsidiary of Meridian Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: MRDN), has launched a fully redesigned digital platform in Malta, its longest-standing regulated market. The release marks the most significant product upgrade to the platform since its initial launch, introducing an AI-powered assistant, early payout mechanics, enhanced odds promotions and a redesigned casino interface across mobile and desktop.
The redesigned platform includes an AI-powered assistant designed to help users navigate betting options and make informed decisions. Additionally, the new Early Payout feature allows bettors to cash out wagers before an event concludes, providing greater flexibility. Bet Boost offers enhanced odds on selected markets, while the casino interface has been revamped for a smoother experience on both mobile and desktop devices.
In January, Meridianbet completed the acquisition of Fairbet Ltd., expanding its retail network in Malta to 20 storefronts. This acquisition complements the digital launch, strengthening the company's omnichannel presence in the Maltese market.
The upgrade is part of Meridianbet's strategy to leverage technology and artificial intelligence to enhance user engagement and operational efficiency. The company's B2C division, Meridianbet Group, operates across multiple jurisdictions in Europe, Africa, and South America, and is licensed in several regulated markets.
Meridian Holdings Inc. is based in Las Vegas, Nevada, and trades on the NASDAQ under the ticker MRDN. The company's B2B division includes Expanse Studios and iGaming platform GMAG, which develop and distribute proprietary gaming platforms globally. Other subsidiaries include RKings Competitions, Mexplay, and Classics for a Cause.
