Nordex Group has raised its full-year 2026 EBITDA margin guidance to a range of 11.5% to 12.5%, up from the previous 8.0% to 11.0%, following preliminary unaudited third-quarter results that came in above market expectations. The announcement, reported via NEWMEDIAWIRE, underscores a significant improvement in the wind turbine manufacturer's profitability outlook and could bolster investor confidence in the renewable energy sector.
For Q3 2026, Nordex expects EBITDA of approximately EUR 278 million, more than double the EUR 136 million reported in the same quarter last year, translating to an EBITDA margin of 12.7% compared with 8.0% in Q3 2025. Preliminary revenues are projected at around EUR 2,187 million, up from EUR 1,706 million a year earlier. The company attributed the better-than-expected performance to higher margins in its Service segment and strong project execution, while risks previously assumed in the Projects segment did not materialize to the extent anticipated.
The improved results also strengthen Nordex's balance sheet. Cash and cash equivalents totaled EUR 2,327 million at the end of Q3 2026, compared with EUR 1,929 million at the end of Q4 2025. Free cash flow for the quarter is expected to reach EUR 379 million, up from EUR 149 million in Q3 2025. Nordex anticipates free cash flow to remain positive in the fourth quarter, supported by additional profits, order intake momentum, and continued working capital improvement.
Other elements of the full-year guidance remain unchanged: sales of EUR 8.2 to 9.0 billion, a working capital ratio below -9%, and capital expenditure of approximately EUR 200 million. CEO Jose Luis Blanco commented that the third quarter demonstrates the teams' ability to deliver, with strong execution in Projects and higher profitability in Service positioning the company well for the final quarter. The upward revision is significant because it suggests Nordex is successfully navigating execution risks and improving operational efficiency, which could enhance its competitive standing in the global wind energy market.
Full results for Q3 2026 are scheduled for publication on November 5, 2026. The original release is available on www.newmediawire.com.
