North Atlantic Titanium Corp. (CSE: NATO) (OTCQB: NATQ.F) (FSE: Y33) has provided additional information regarding its submission for drilling permits at the Everett Titanium-Vanadium-Phosphate project near Havre-Saint-Pierre, Quebec, following a previous news release on July 14, 2026. The company's planned drilling program of 25,000 meters targets the northern portion of the Everett oxide body, driven by compelling mineralogical characterization from Corem and verification of historical sampling.
Corem analyzed a composite metallurgical sample from 57 sites across the Everett oxide body and reported that approximately 99% of oxide minerals consist of high-quality hemo-ilmenite with very low magnesium, manganese, and aluminum impurities. The composite sample graded 37.0% Fe2O3, 17.4% TiO2, 0.18% V2O5, and 2.27% P2O5. Unlike the nearby Lac Tio Mine, which is a massive hemo-ilmenite cumulate, the Everett oxide body is being drill-tested for its polymetallic assemblage, including low-Mg/Mn/Cr hemo-ilmenite, apatite as a potential phosphate coproduct, vanadium, and potential scandium credits. This positions the project as a broader Fe-Ti-V-P critical-minerals opportunity.
The company holds the 2,406-hectare Everett property under option from Romaine River Titanium Inc. Pending permits include a Permit for Forestry Activities (PAF) and a Permit for Work with Impact (ATI) for the drilling campaign. Upon permit approval, the company will conduct drilling in success-contingent stages. Stage 1 comprises 6,000 meters of widely spaced drilling between Sections 9N and 19N to delineate the oxide body limits, collect samples, and frame follow-up drilling. Stage 2 involves approximately 19,000 meters of infill drilling to define a Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE). Stage 1 drilling is expected to commence upon ATI acceptance, with Stage 2 likely beginning in late winter 2026-27.
The mineralized unit, an oxide-apatite-gabbronorite (Unit 7), spans over 6 km of strike length on the property, with the main area named the Everett Oxide Body. The targeted body dips gently at 20-30° to the ESE. The Corem analysis confirmed that over 99% of oxides are hemo-ilmenite, with low magnetite content (0.9% Satmagan). The hemo-ilmenite and apatite together comprise over 50% of the sample.
Regionally, the Everett project is located within the Lac Allard Anorthosite intrusion, part of the Grenville Province. The nearby Lac Tio deposit, the world's largest hard-rock ilmenite deposit, supplies about 19% of global titanium dioxide feedstock. However, Everett's hemo-ilmenite has significantly lower MgO (mean 0.38%) compared to Lac Tio (1.6-3.2% MgO), distinguishing it chemically.
