The PNE Group has emerged successful in the latest onshore wind tender in France, securing the rights to develop the "Oinville-Saint-Liphard" wind farm in the Centre-Val de Loire region. The project, comprising four wind turbines with a total capacity of 22 megawatts (MW), was one of 39 awarded projects out of 144 bids submitted in the eleventh tender under the PPE2 programme, representing a highly competitive round. A total of 2.38 gigawatts of capacity were bid for only 808 MW awarded.

The timing proved crucial for PNE, as the Oinville-Saint-Liphard project received its permit in May, just in time to be submitted. The approval process took only 15 months, a relatively swift timeline compared to industry averages.
