The movement, inspired by her chapter 'Pretty Broke: The Price Women Pay To Fit In' in the Amazon #1 best-selling book Financial Trendsetters 4, seeks to spark a national conversation about the hidden financial crisis many women face.
Reeves, CEO of In Shape Financial Solutions, argues that many women inherited financial barriers they did not create. For generations, women were encouraged to invest in their appearance and care for others while receiving little education about building wealth or protecting their future. 'Pretty Broke isn't about criticizing women or how they choose to spend their money,' Reeves said. 'It's about helping women realize they deserve to invest in their financial future with the same confidence they invest in every other part of their lives.'
The movement emphasizes that being financially 'in shape' is as important as being physically in shape.
