In the race to acquire new customers, many companies inadvertently neglect the ones they already have, often until it's too late. A new app called Renewal Radar, built by Sighub, aims to close this gap by helping businesses monitor renewal signals within their existing HubSpot data.
The problem is widespread: sales teams meticulously track new leads through pipelines, forecasts, and follow-up sequences, but once a deal is closed, the same level of attention rarely extends to the customer's renewal journey. Vital information such as renewal dates and customer activity may be scattered across various HubSpot records, including deals, line items, quotes, subscriptions, and custom objects. While the data exists, it often goes unheeded, leaving customers feeling neglected long before their contract is due for renewal.
This oversight can be costly. Companies may technically know when a renewal is upcoming but fail to engage the customer in a timely manner, risking churn and lost revenue. Renewal Radar addresses this by working directly with the information already stored in HubSpot, eliminating the need for a separate customer success platform.
The app scans customer accounts, identifies the strongest available renewal signal, and checks whether recent activity suggests the customer is already receiving attention. When signals indicate that a customer may be slipping through the cracks, Renewal Radar surfaces the account so the responsible team can take action promptly.
"Companies put enormous effort into winning new customers, but existing customers can become surprisingly easy to overlook once the deal is closed," said Ulaş Arslan, founder of Sighub. "Customers notice that long before a renewal is officially at risk. We built Renewal Radar to help teams spot that gap while there is still time to do something about it."
Renewal Radar is designed as a lightweight layer on top of HubSpot, not a replacement for existing CRM or customer success processes. It monitors renewal information across multiple HubSpot sources while considering recent customer activity. When an account requires attention, the app can create a focused task for the responsible team, and when the situation is resolved, the alert can resolve as well.
The app is particularly aimed at Customer Success and RevOps teams that manage customers in HubSpot but do not want to introduce a separate enterprise customer success platform just to ensure existing revenue receives the same attention as new pipeline. For companies focused heavily on growth, the uncomfortable question is not only how many new customers are being won, but whether the customers they already fought to win still feel like somebody is paying attention.
Renewal Radar is available for HubSpot users through Sighub and the HubSpot App Marketplace.
