Sauce, a first-party ordering and delivery platform for independent restaurants, announced its integration with Apple Business Connect, a free tool that enables businesses to control how their information appears across Apple apps including Maps, Wallet, Siri, and Mail. This integration gives Sauce’s restaurant partners the ability to update their Apple Maps place cards with accurate hours, photos, and promotions, creating a direct path for customers to discover and order from their favorite restaurants.
“Stronger visibility across Apple’s tools creates a smoother path from discovery to ordering,” said Li-ran Navon, CEO and Founder of Sauce. “This integration fits perfectly with our mission to help restaurants take control of their brand and customer relationships and online presence. From digital discovery to ordering to delivery, Sauce now helps restaurants own every touchpoint of the customer journey.”
The rollout includes access to Apple Business Connect’s Insights feature, which provides data on how customers discover and interact with a restaurant’s place card. These metrics help restaurants refine promotions and understand which listings generate the most engagement, enabling data-driven decisions.
“Apple Business Connect adds an important new layer to Sauce’s end-to-end platform,” said Elliot Hool, VP of Marketing at Sauce. “We’re evolving beyond delivery to become the complete ecosystem for restaurant management and growth, bringing together discovery, ordering, and AI-Powered customer retention automation in one place.”
The integration began rolling out to Sauce partners in phases starting December 2025. Restaurants can register for Apple Business Connect for free here and link their account through Sauce to manage their presence across Apple’s ecosystem, or work with their Sauce Restaurant Success Managers for assistance.
This development matters because it gives independent restaurants—often at a disadvantage against chains—a more level playing field to attract customers through Apple’s widely used platforms. By enabling direct ordering and promotions within Apple Maps and other apps, Sauce helps restaurants reduce reliance on third-party delivery aggregators and build stronger direct customer relationships. For the restaurant industry, where profit margins are thin, owning the customer journey from discovery to delivery can significantly boost profitability and loyalty.
