In an era where electronic warfare increasingly threatens the reliability of GPS, the ability to maintain accurate navigation is becoming a decisive factor in modern military operations. SPARC AI Inc. The Overwatch service operates by having aircraft send sensor data to the network through an API, receiving positioning information in return in approximately one-third of a second. The network is designed to expand across multiple geographic regions and automatically scale compute capacity as the number of connected aircraft increases. The strategic importance of this technology is underscored by SPARC AI's intention to have Ukraine play a key role in validating Overwatch at operational scale. The company has invited Ukrainian drone manufacturers and other stakeholders with existing engagements to access the network. Looking to expand into allied markets, SPARC AI plans to attend the MSPO defense industry exhibition in Poland beginning Sept. 8. The company has scheduled meetings with several European drone original equipment manufacturers as it seeks to broaden the Overwatch Positioning Network's reach. This engagement with European defense contractors could facilitate the adoption of the technology across NATO and allied forces, where GPS-denied capabilities are increasingly prioritized.
