Stonegate Capital Partners announced on January 15, 2026, that it has initiated research coverage on Cassiar Gold Corp. (TSXV: GLDC), a company focused on its wholly owned Cassiar Gold Property in British Columbia. The coverage follows a pivotal NI 43-101 technical report and updated mineral resource estimate released in June 2025, which underscores the project's potential.
The updated estimate for the Taurus deposit outlines pit-constrained Indicated Mineral Resources of 8.8 million tonnes at 1.43 grams per tonne gold (410,000 ounces) and Inferred Mineral Resources of 63.2 million tonnes at 0.95 g/t gold (1.93 million ounces), using a 0.4 g/t gold cut-off grade. Notably, the company highlights that 91% of the ounces occur within 150 meters of the surface, and mineralization starts at surface, suggesting favorable economics for open-pit mining.
Cassiar has also been actively drilling to expand mineralization and improve continuity. In 2024, the company completed 7,168 meters of drilling across 30 holes. The 2025 drill program comprised 7,308 meters over 20 drill holes, with positive early results. These efforts build on the project's existing infrastructure and historic production, positioning Cassiar Gold as a potential near-term developer.
