Tempest Droneworx Chosen to Present at Venture Atlanta 2026, Signaling Growth Ambitions

Tempest Droneworx™ has been selected to present at Venture Atlanta 2026, a premier technology innovation event that connects emerging companies with top-tier investors. The announcement positions the Houston-based real-time intelligence company among the Southeast’s most promising tech firms, offering a platform to secure capital and strategic partnerships critical for its next stage of growth.

Venture Atlanta, now in its 19th year, has helped launch more than 1,000 companies, facilitating over $8.8 billion in capital raised and $22 billion in exits. The conference, scheduled for October 14-15 at the Woodruff Arts Center and Atlanta Symphony Hall, is expected to sell out. Tempest Droneworx was chosen through a competitive process that evaluated innovation, market opportunity, leadership, customer traction, and growth potential. Presenting companies span sectors including AI, defense technology, robotics, and climate technology.

For Tempest Droneworx, the selection validates its transition from technology demonstration to real-world problem solving. “Over the last several years, we’ve gone from proving that our technology works to proving that it solves real problems,” said Ty Audronis, founder and CTO. “We’ve demonstrated our technology with the FAA and U.S. Air Force, we’re working with universities and commercial customers, and we’re bringing Corvus MRDR™ to market. Being selected for Venture Atlanta gives us the opportunity to tell that story to people who understand what it takes to turn proven technology into a much larger company.”

The company’s core offering aggregates data from robots, drones, cameras, sensors, RADAR, and other sources into a real-time 3D common operating picture. Unlike systems tied to specific hardware or AI providers, Tempest’s platform is designed to work across existing and future technologies, reducing customer lock-in. This agnostic approach has been demonstrated in programs with the Federal Aviation Administration and U.S. Air Force, including simultaneous control of heterogeneous unmanned aircraft and airspace deconfliction.

Tempest Droneworx is also commercializing Corvus MRDR™, an engineering platform that lets researchers test robotics and autonomy using mixed virtual and physical systems, capturing telemetry for analysis. The company serves defense, government, public safety, research, agriculture, infrastructure, and commercial markets, and is an SBA-certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business.

Venture Atlanta’s track record includes alumni such as Bark, CallRail, Flock Safety, Salesloft, and PrizePicks. “Venture Atlanta is where promising companies get discovered and where the right connections can change what comes next,” said Allyson Eman, CEO of Venture Atlanta. “Being selected in such a competitive field is a significant achievement, and we’re excited to give these companies a platform to connect with hundreds of investors and influential leaders who can help turn visibility into capital, partnerships, and growth.”

The implications for Tempest Droneworx are substantial. Presenting at Venture Atlanta provides direct access to hundreds of venture capital firms, corporate venture groups, and Fortune 500 innovation leaders. For a company with proven defense and government contracts, this visibility could accelerate the transition to commercial scale, particularly for Corvus MRDR™ and its Harbinger™ platform. As defense and commercial sectors increasingly demand integrated, real-time intelligence across diverse systems, Tempest’s platform-agnostic approach may offer a competitive edge. The event could also help the company secure the capital needed to expand its team, accelerate product development, and capture a larger share of the growing market for autonomous systems and real-time data fusion.
