The Harvest Table, a South African wellness brand, is set to participate in the 2026 ECRM Vitamin, Weight Management & Sports Nutrition Session, scheduled for September 14-17 in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. The company aims to present its clean-label products as a simpler alternative in a wellness marketplace dominated by complicated formulations and bold marketing claims.
According to Catherine Clark, Founder of The Harvest Table, the wellness category has become incredibly crowded, leaving consumers to navigate an overwhelming array of products and messages. She believes the answer is not necessarily more ingredients or more complex formulations, but rather quality products with purpose and transparency about what is inside them. This philosophy has guided the company's product development from the beginning.
The Harvest Table encourages consumers to look beyond marketing language and examine the actual contents of nutrition products. The company's product line includes Grass Fed Bovine Collagen Granules, which provide Types I and III collagen sourced from grass-fed bovine collagen, available in a tasteless, instant-dissolving formulation without added gums, fillers, preservatives, artificial flavors, or dyes. Multi Collagen Radiance offers a more comprehensive blend, combining Types I, III, V, and X collagen with Vitamin C, Zinc, and Cranberry. For plant-based consumers, Vegan Protein provides another clean-label option, free from the same additives.
A key differentiator for The Harvest Table is its control over the entire manufacturing process. The company produces its products in-house at a custom-built facility in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, ensuring direct oversight of sourcing, formulation, manufacturing, and quality. The facility undergoes annual Food Safety Assessment (FSA) audits, meets GMP manufacturing requirements, and is recognized as a Food Safe Facility. It also maintains Halal certification for applicable markets.
Sam Clark, CEO of The Harvest Table, emphasized that quality is not merely a marketing message but starts with ingredient selection, continues through formulation and manufacturing, and ultimately is reflected in the final product. Maintaining that control is an integral part of the company's identity.
The Harvest Table has already taken steps to expand its U.S. presence. Its complete initial product range is available on Amazon, including Multi Collagen Radiance (12.35 oz pouch), Bovine Collagen Granules (12.35 oz pouch), and Vegan Protein (19.40 oz pouch). Participating in ECRM will allow the company to introduce its products and philosophy to the U.S. retail community, sharing the story of a family-run South African company that has maintained its founding principles.
Clark noted that consumers do not need more noise but rather products they can understand and brands they can trust. This approach has built The Harvest Table in South Africa and is the same approach being brought to the United States.
