Trilogy Metals Expands Advisory and Leadership Teams Following US Government Investment

Trilogy Metals Inc. (NYSE American: TMQ) (TSX: TMQ) announced the expansion of its advisory and leadership teams following a US federal government investment to advance exploration and development of the Upper Kobuk Mineral Projects (UKMP) in northwestern Alaska. The projects are held by Ambler Metals, a 50/50 joint venture between Trilogy and South32 Limited. With permitting and project activity expected to accelerate, Trilogy is strengthening oversight of the joint venture as South32 increases its personnel commitment, while Ambler Metals recruits key management roles to support execution of its 2026 program.

The company also announced the appointment of Egizio Bianchini as strategic advisor and additional management appointments, positioning the company to advance corporate development initiatives and progress toward closing the US government investment. The full press release is available at https://ibn.fm/3EzoN.

Trilogy Metals is a metal exploration and development company that holds a 50 percent interest in Ambler Metals LLC, which has a 100 percent interest in the UKMP. The UKMP is located within the Ambler Mining District, one of the richest and most-prospective known copper-dominant districts in the world. It hosts world-class polymetallic volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) deposits containing copper, zinc, lead, gold, and silver, as well as carbonate replacement deposits with high-grade copper and cobalt mineralization. Exploration efforts have focused on two deposits: the Arctic VMS deposit and the Bornite carbonate replacement deposit, both located within a land package spanning approximately 190,929 hectares.

Ambler Metals has an agreement with NANA Regional Corporation, Inc., an Alaska Native Corporation, providing a framework for exploration and potential development in cooperation with local communities. Trilogy’s vision is to develop the Ambler Mining District into a premier North American copper producer while protecting and respecting subsistence livelihoods.

The US government investment, announced on Oct. 6, 2025, is expected to accelerate permitting and project activity, making the expansion of advisory and leadership teams critical for overseeing the joint venture and advancing development. The appointment of Egizio Bianchini as strategic advisor brings additional expertise to the company as it navigates the complexities of large-scale mineral development in Alaska.
