Trilogy Metals Inc. (NYSE American: TMQ) (TSX: TMQ) has been named to the 2026 TSX30, an annual ranking of the top-performing companies on the Toronto Stock Exchange over a three-year period based on dividend-adjusted share price appreciation. The company's share price increased 570% during the three years ended June 30, 2026, underscoring significant investor confidence in its strategic direction and asset base.
President and CEO Tony Giardini said the recognition reflects investor confidence in Trilogy and the strategic importance of the Arctic Project in northwestern Alaska to the American critical mineral supply chain. The Arctic Project is part of the Upper Kobuk Mineral Projects (UKMP), which Trilogy holds through a 50 percent interest in Ambler Metals LLC. Ambler Metals has a 100 percent interest in the UKMP, located within the Ambler Mining District, one of the richest and most-prospective known copper-dominant districts in the world.
The district hosts polymetallic volcanogenic massive sulfide (VMS) deposits containing copper, zinc, lead, gold, and silver, as well as carbonate replacement deposits with high-grade copper and cobalt mineralization. Exploration has focused on two deposits: the Arctic VMS deposit and the Bornite carbonate replacement deposit, both within a land package spanning approximately 190,929 hectares. On December 19, 2019, South32, a globally diversified mining and metals company, exercised its option to form a 50/50 joint venture with Trilogy Metals, further validating the project's potential.
Ambler Metals also has an agreement with NANA Regional Corporation, Inc., an Alaska Native Corporation, providing a framework for exploration and potential development in cooperation with local communities. Trilogy Metals' vision is to develop the Ambler Mining District into a premier North American copper producer while protecting and respecting subsistence livelihoods.
The TSX30 recognition is significant because it highlights Trilogy's strong market performance and reinforces the strategic value of the Arctic Project at a time when the United States is seeking to secure domestic supplies of critical minerals. Copper and cobalt are essential for renewable energy technologies, electric vehicles, and defense applications, and the Ambler Mining District represents one of the most promising undeveloped sources in North America. The 570% share price increase over three years suggests that investors are increasingly recognizing the long-term potential of this resource.
