Upside Gold Corp. has released results from a comprehensive compilation of historic exploration data at its Kena Gold-Copper Property in southeastern British Columbia, revealing a large gold-copper mineralized system that extends beyond the boundaries of the historic mineral resource estimate. The property, covering 10,115 hectares, hosts a historic indicated resource of 0.561 million ounces of gold at 0.544 g/t and an inferred resource of 2.77 million ounces at 0.486 g/t, as detailed in a technical report by Moose Mountain Technical Services dated May 3, 2021.
The compilation integrated geological, geophysical, and geochemical data, outlining a mineralized trend extending at least seven kilometers along strike. This work identified multiple priority gold-copper drill targets for the 2026 program, including the potential to define a second major mineralized zone within the Kena Copper Zone. The digital exploration model was updated using data from exploration conducted from 1974 to the present, verified through review of historical analog documentation and fieldwork completed in 2025.

Integrating decades of data into a modern 3D model is helping identify areas where mineralization may extend beyond the historic resource and focus drilling on the most promising expansion targets.
During the compilation of the drillhole database, it was found that over 90% of historic drilling included multi-element analyses, but only gold results were previously recorded. Silver and copper results were systematically extracted from digital and analog certificates, revealing copper values up to 71,800 ppm and silver up to 145 ppm. This addition is expected to demonstrate significant additional value within the project.
The integration of mapped geology and structural interpretation with geophysical surveys supports the conclusion that mineralization at Kena is structurally controlled by the Kena Deformation Zone, a major steeply dipping fault zone traceable for at least 11 kilometers. Induced polarization (IP) surveys identify zones of high chargeability and low resistivity consistent with disseminated pyrite-hosted mineralization, suggesting a total strike length of at least seven kilometers.
Sporadic historic drilling of these anomalies has returned wide intervals of gold and copper mineralization, including 117 meters of 0.22% Cu and 0.14 g/t Au at the Kena Copper Zone, and 90 meters of 0.9 g/t Au at the South Gold Zone. The addition of soil survey data to the exploration model shows copper and gold anomalies spatially associated with favorable IP and magnetic signatures.
The first priority drill targets for 2026 will focus on testing along strike to the southeast within the Kena Copper Zone, aiming to define a second major mineralized zone. The work also suggests that the mineralized system extends across much of the southern half of the property, which has never undergone diamond drilling. The Kootenay region of southeastern British Columbia has been largely overlooked for gold and copper exploration, offering opportunities for new discoveries.
