Verizon (NYSE, Nasdaq: VZ) today announced the availability of the next-generation Motorola Razr 2026, marking the carrier's most affordable folding phone to date. Priced at $799.99 retail, the device is offered for $0 with a new line on any myPlan via Verizon Device Payment (0% APR for 36 months). The announcement underscores Verizon's strategy to make foldable technology accessible to a broader audience without compromising on performance or style.
The Razr 2026 merges its iconic flip design with moto ai and Google Gemini, aiming to simplify daily routines while fitting compactly into a pocket. This launch is part of Motorola's broader device lineup, which includes options ranging from affordable powerhouses to premium foldables. Verizon is also promoting a three-year price-lock guarantee on base monthly rates for myPlan and myHome network plans, providing customers with predictable pricing.
New and existing customers can get the Razr 2026 or the Moto G on us with a new line on myPlan, subject to terms and conditions. The device will also be available on Visible, Verizon's digital-first wireless brand, starting May 21. For those switching carriers, Verizon offers a transparent side-by-side bill comparison at any store. Additionally, the Pro On The Go service, powered by Asurion, provides expert setup and data transfer for new devices.
Customers who purchase the Razr 2026 elsewhere can still bring their own device to Verizon and, for a limited time, get mobile and home internet for as low as $69.99 per month (with Fios 300 Mbps for $19.99/mo and one line on Unlimited Welcome for $50/mo, plus taxes and fees, with Auto Pay). New Verizon Home Internet customers can also receive three months of the FOX One perk on us, offering live and on-demand sports, news, and entertainment content.
The Razr 2026 is available starting today at Verizon stores, online at verizon.com, or through the My Verizon app. This launch reinforces Verizon's commitment to providing value and innovation in the competitive smartphone market, making advanced foldable technology more attainable than ever.
