NEW YORK, NY — Verizon Communications Inc. has announced two opportunities for its customers and small businesses to win tickets to the FIFA World Cup 2026 Final, scheduled for July 19 at the New York New Jersey Stadium. The initiatives aim to bring fans closer to one of the world's most-watched sporting events.
Verizon mobile and home customers nationwide can claim tickets through a national drop on April 28 at 3 p.m. EST via Verizon Access. The tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and winners will receive entry to the final match. However, travel and accommodations are not included in the prize.
In addition, the Verizon Small Business Super Pitch Competition offers small business owners a chance to win tickets to FIFA World Cup 2026 games, including the final, along with grant funding from Verizon. Eligible participants must be 18 or older, own a small business in the U.S., sign up for the free Verizon Small Business Digital Ready platform, and complete a course or attend an event in the Winning Customers category between January 1 and May 18. Entries are accepted from April 27 to May 18 at 11:59 p.m. PT. Regional semi-finals will occur in late June, with the final live-pitch event on July 17.
For those who miss the ticket drop or are not small business owners, select Verizon retail stores are offering in-store opportunities to win tickets from April 24 to May 15. Shoppers can enter for a chance to win at participating locations, which can be found via VisitVerizonStores.com. Residents in Denver and Chicago can visit dedicated pages for their cities: VisitVerizonStores.com/Denver or VisitVerizonStores.com/Chicago.
This announcement underscores Verizon's ongoing efforts to engage its customer base and support small businesses through digital tools and exclusive experiences. The FIFA World Cup 2026, co-hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico, is expected to draw massive global attention, and Verizon's ticket giveaways provide a unique incentive for loyalty and participation.
