Verizon Unveils Exclusive Back-to-School Deals with Free Devices and Digital Safety Tools

NEW YORK, NY — As the new school year approaches, Verizon is offering a range of exclusive back-to-school deals designed to make essential tech affordable and stress-free for families. The telecommunications giant is providing free devices, discounted plans, and digital safety tools to help parents manage their children's online activities while preparing for the classroom.

Among the key offers, new and existing customers can get a free Gizmo Watch 4 when purchasing on a 36-month payment plan with a new watch line. The watch includes location tracking, school mode, and approved-contact-only communication, giving parents peace of mind. Additionally, a Kids Bundle allows customers to buy any Android phone and receive the Gizmo Watch 4 along with a Samsung Galaxy Tab A11+ on us, with a new line and service plan on each device.

For families with older students, the Samsung Ultimate Bundle offers eligible customers a free Galaxy Watch9 and Galaxy Tab S10 FE when purchasing a new Samsung phone on a payment plan or bringing their own Android phone with a new line. Verizon is also targeting educators and college students with discounts: teachers can get the company's best 5G network for $25 per line per month with four lines on Unlimited Welcome, and college students can save up to $25 per month on two lines of mobile service when bundled with home internet. Additional discounts can stack for both groups.

Beyond device deals, Verizon is emphasizing digital wellness as a core part of its back-to-school offering. The company has released a Family Tech Agreement, a downloadable and printable document designed to help families establish mutual boundaries around screen time, including rules for parents. Verizon also promotes its Verizon Family App, which provides parental controls, screen time management, teen driving insights, and location check-ins. Free digital wellness resources are available on the Parenting in a Digital World site, offering expert advice for parents, caregivers, students, teachers, and schools.

"The biggest back-to-school challenge isn't school supplies – it's navigating the digital landscape and prioritizing online safety," Verizon stated in the announcement. The company positions itself as a one-stop shop for simple plans and powerful digital wellness tools, aiming to make the transition easier, safer, and more rewarding for every family.
