WebCE Wins Gold Stevie Award for Contact Center of the Year, Defying Industry Automation Trend

WebCE has been awarded a Gold Stevie Award in the Contact Center of the Year category at the 20th Annual Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service, marking its first Gold win and fifth overall award in this category. The company, which previously earned Silver in 2025 and 2024 and Bronze in 2023 and 2022, was recognized for its people-first service model that emphasizes live, personalized support over automation.

The Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service are the world's top honors for customer service, contact center, business development, and sales professionals, with more than 2,100 nominations from 41 nations considered this year. Winners were determined by average scores from 150 professionals across eight judging committees.

Judges praised WebCE's approach as "contrarian" amid industry-wide pushes toward AI integration and outsourcing. Instead of relying on automation, the company employs a finely tuned training regimen for each representative to provide live, personalized support for 1.5 million customers navigating complex compliance requirements. This model allows a single representative to handle inquiries across 22 licenses and certifications without call transfers, scripts, or rigid time limits.

"Our support team is the heartbeat of WebCE, proving that, in an increasingly automated world, the ultimate competitive advantage is genuine human connection," Director of Support Services Jordan Smith said. "I am incredibly proud to see their dedication recognized."

The judges also highlighted WebCE's "impressive average speed of answer results." From 2023 to 2025, the company shortened average time to answer incoming calls by 14 seconds to just 29 seconds. This efficiency reduced the call abandonment rate to 1.5%, significantly outperforming the 5% industry standard. Customers responded positively, earning the team a 95% Customer Satisfaction Score (CSAT), far surpassing the industry average of 74% (American Customer Satisfaction Index).

"Excellent job by WebCE Support Services in delivering personalized, knowledgeable, and timely customer care, achieving outstanding satisfaction, recommendation, and response metrics," the judges said. "WebCE is clearly a leading contact center."

Winners will be celebrated at a gala event at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City on March 5. Details and the full list of winners are available at https://sales.stevieawards.com/.
