Western Star Resources Engages Dahrouge Geological Consulting to Advance Tungsten Assets

Western Star Resources Inc. (CSE: WSR) (OTC: WSRIF) (FRA: 4K2) has announced the engagement of Dahrouge Geological Consulting to assist in the evaluation and future exploration of its past-producing tungsten assets in Nevada and New Mexico. The move marks a strategic step toward advancing the company's goal of revitalizing North America's tungsten supply amid growing demand for domestic critical minerals.

Blake Morgan, CEO of Western Star Resources, stated that Dahrouge has already begun analyzing technical data from the past-producing Eagle Point Mine in New Mexico. The consulting group is working to define drill targets across known surface mineralization and consolidate data into a comprehensive technical model. The collaboration aims to develop a drilling program targeting the historical non-compliant resource, followed by a mineral resource estimate (MRE) after the initial maiden drill program in 2026.

Dahrouge Geological Consulting is a North American mineral exploration and project management firm with offices in Edmonton, Montreal, and Denver. Support for Western Star will be based out of the Denver office, leveraging regional expertise in site-specific geology and resource evaluation. The firm provides professional geological, logistical, and project management services, including project generation, program design, geophysics, and resource estimation.

Jacob Anderson, Certified Professional Geologist at Dahrouge, expressed enthusiasm for collaborating with Western Star's team to better understand the geology and mineralization at Eagle Point Mine. He noted that Dahrouge will work aggressively to advance the understanding of the mine's resource potential while helping to de-risk and expand the mineral resource of the project.

The engagement comes as Western Star positions itself to participate in the growing need for secure domestic critical mineral supply. The company's focus on past-producing tungsten assets in historically important mining districts aligns with broader efforts to reduce reliance on foreign sources for critical minerals. The board is expected to release further updates regarding the drilling program in the near future.
