Western Star Resources Phase 1 Exploration Confirms Three Zones of Extensive Historical Tungsten Workings at Rowland Property

Western Star Resources Inc. (CSE: WSR) (OTC: WSRIF) announced the successful completion of Phase 1 exploration at its 100% owned, past-producing Rowland Tungsten Property in Elko County, Nevada. The program included a UAV magnetic survey, soil geochemistry, rock-chip sampling, and field checking of historical workings. Results have materially increased the company's understanding of the property, confirming four discrete zones of extensive historical tungsten-bearing workings, all hosted within the same skarn-style geological setting as the originally targeted Rowland workings.

Key highlights include the confirmation of Northern Zone B as the most significant historical development on the property. Field crews documented dilapidated wooden infrastructure consistent with a historical ore chute and several decommissioned shafts. The Rowland Main zone revealed multiple additional workings and extensive UV fluorescence consistent with scheelite mineralization. The UAV magnetic survey data is being processed, and soil and rock samples have been rush-submitted for assay, with results expected in coming weeks.

CEO Blake Morgan stated, "Rowland has come out of Phase 1 looking considerably more prospective than the historical record suggested. We expected a single past-producing zone; the field crew came back with multiple zones of extensive historical development." The company adjusted the program in real time to focus on the newly discovered areas.

The Phase 1 program confirmed that Northern Zone A, which prompted the company's prior claim expansion, has substantially larger waste dumps and surface piles than historical records indicate. Northern Zone B, not documented in public records, features 3 to 4 confirmed shafts and 600 to 700 metres of trenching. The Rowland Main zone showed extensive scheelite fluorescence under UV light, confirmed by portable XRF screening. Channel samples were taken across the open cut to characterize grade distribution.

The UAV magnetic survey is the first modern high-resolution geophysical dataset for the property. Preliminary results are expected shortly. With Phase 1 complete, the company's priorities are to integrate assay results, finalize Phase 2, and advance toward drill targeting and permitting.
