Wolfson Group, a Scotland-based international consumer wellness company, is taking a significant step to expand its U.S. presence by participating in the ECRM Vitamin, Weight Management & Sports Nutrition Session from September 14-17 in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. The event will connect the company with buyers from major health, specialty, food, drug, and mass-market retail channels, marking a shift from its current e-commerce-focused strategy to a broader omnichannel approach.
The company currently sells its brands—PhenQ, TestoPrime, NooCube, and YourBiology—primarily through Amazon in the United States. While Amazon has provided a foundation, CEO Scott Dingwall sees a larger opportunity in physical retail. "Amazon has given our brands an important foundation in the U.S. market, but we see a much larger opportunity ahead," Dingwall said. "The next step is expanding where consumers can find us, and ECRM gives us the opportunity to sit down with retailers across multiple channels and explore where our portfolio can fit."
This move matters because it reflects a growing trend among digital-native brands to seek physical retail presence to reach consumers who prefer to shop in-store or want to see products before purchasing. For Wolfson Group, expanding into brick-and-mortar stores could significantly increase brand visibility and credibility, especially in the competitive wellness market. The ECRM format, which facilitates scheduled, focused meetings between brands and retailers, allows Wolfson Group to not only pitch its products but also gain insights into the specific needs of different retail channels. "Every retail channel is different, and that's one of the reasons these meetings are valuable," Dingwall noted. "We can have direct conversations about what buyers are seeing, what their customers are looking for and how our brands might complement their existing wellness offerings."
The implications of this expansion are substantial. By diversifying its distribution channels, Wolfson Group can reduce reliance on Amazon, mitigate risks associated with platform changes, and tap into new customer segments. The company's portfolio spans weight management, cognitive wellness, gut health, and men's wellbeing—categories that are in high demand among U.S. consumers. Successfully entering retail shelves could accelerate revenue growth and strengthen brand equity. Moreover, the insights gained from ECRM meetings will inform Wolfson Group's long-term U.S. strategy, helping it tailor products and marketing to different retail environments.
As Wolfson Group works to translate its digital commerce experience into a broader retail footprint, its efforts highlight the evolving landscape of consumer wellness, where omnichannel strategies are becoming essential for growth. The September meetings represent a critical step in building the partnerships necessary to extend its reach beyond Amazon and establish a lasting presence in one of the world's largest consumer markets.
