This partnership transcends traditional sponsorship. Latinhub.TV and World Mobile have begun field trials of World Mobile AirNodes, starting in Austin, Texas, and expanding next to the Bronx, New York - home of Bodegas.tv, the NYC-branded, point-of-sale network of Latinhub.TV. The trials will test decentralized connectivity for the bodegas and small retailers that host the network's in-store screens, laying the groundwork for a media and connectivity stack built for the communities it serves.
World Mobile's role also carries two exclusive elements. First, category exclusivity: World Mobile is Latinhub.TV's sole mobile/telecom sector partner. Second, bodegas participating in the connectivity trials will also gain access to World Mobile POS, extending the partnership from the network into the point of sale.
The U.S. Latino economy reached $4.4 trillion in GDP in 2024 - which, measured on its own, would make it the world's fourth-largest economy, surpassing Japan's, according to the 2026 U.S. Latino GDP Report from the UCLA/Cal Lutheran Latino GDP Project. More than 68 million Latinos live in the U.S., alongside 130 million consumers in Mexico. Yet less than 1% of U.S. online retailers' digital ad spend reaches Spanish-language media.
